I'm searching all over the Internet and can't find the answer I'm looking for. I know people use cedar wood in burning to clear negative energy but can you just use the wood itself? The reason I ask is I have a cedar wood jewelry box that is small and I wonder if I store my crystals and gemstones in it if it will continually clear the energy? It seems like it should but then I can't find anyone doing it online?

Based on this information it seem as though this would be a great material to store your crystals in while keeping their energy fresh. I like to alternate how I cleanse my crystals every once in a while, so you may still want to periodically smudge them, place them in the sunlight, or any other method that you prefer.
