This is a known issue and here is what is happening:

For some reason when the credit card companies reject a charge, they sometimes allow an "Authorization" to remain on the card. Authorizations are not an actual charge and they drop off your statement automatically after a few days. Authorizations may "appear" as a charge on your online statement, but they are never included in the monthly amount that is due at the end of your billing cycle.

We do not know why the credit card companies do this. We have spent time on the phone with them trying to get Authorizations removed in the past and all that they tell us is that we have to wait a few days and the Authorization will be automatically removed.

We apologize for the inconvenience and wish that we could do more, but hopefully this helps to explain the situation.

If you need any further assistance, please don't hesitate to Contact Us.
