Hello HealingCrystals! I need grounding stones for my own personal shamanic journeying. What are the great stones for keeping myself grounded? How much of the grounding stones does it usually require to stay grounded? Thank you!

Hi J:

Thank you so much for your question about which grounding crystals can help you on your journey and how many of them that you will need.

My experience is that if you get the right one it is all that you need and it can be a very small crystal.  One of the most grounding crystals that I have is Bastnaesite.  I have a tiny piece and it is so heavy in my hand that you would think is was a huge crystal.  If you need serious grounding this is an excellent choice.  Good grounding crystals to wear or carry on a daily basis are Black Obsidian(my favorite), Black Onyx, Black Agateand Black Jasper.  They all have unique qualities and I suggest that you take a look at all of them on our site and see which jumps out at you...that is the right one for you.  Finally I really like Red Selenite for grounding when you are working with higher levels of consciousness.  It has the benefits of Selenite with an "earthy" element that give it very special energy.

Thank you so much for your question and for your support of Healing Crystals.com.  I hope that I have answered your question and that you will let me know if I can do anything else to help. I will look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Wishing you Love and Light!

Crystal Blessings!
