Hey there! Im planning to do a Selenite grid around the home and wondering if I need to place the crystals only in the ground level or do I need some upstairs? The other thing is what size should I use and if there are some other crystals other than Selenite I may use or combine? Thank you.

It would be wise to place the Selenite on all of the levels of your home. As easy way to do this is to place the crystals in the corners of rooms or on top of the doorway at the entrance of each room. Selenite is a great choice for this type of work because it carries a very peaceful energy and never needs to be cleared! The size doesn't matter, you can use smaller tumbled stones or larger wands. Just use your intuition when choosing the stones and their placement in each room.
The other stones, if any, that you use would depend on your intention. If you wish to bring in love and harmony, you might choose Rose Quartz. For protection, I would suggest Black Tourmaline. For abundance and prosperity, you could use Green Aventurine and Citrine.
