I have studied your various stone descriptions for the last two days, but I still am not sure what is stone is best for UNCOVERING myself.
I have spent years in study and metaphysical searching, and I think I have suddenly realized something I never knew....and it has taken my totally by surprise...but I want to be sure I am seeing things correctly.
What would be the best stone to be meditating with and carrying to unveil my true self to me?
I'm very excited for you! We absolutely love your questions!
Uncovering yourself is a wonderful part of the journey to wholeness. The word that jumped out at me was "truth", so lets start there. I'm not sure what comes first, the recognition of the truth or the revealing of the truth, so I'll address both. In order to "be" in one's truth, we need to recognize the truth. To recognize the truth I'd recommend:
Apophyllite- is a stone of truth bringing recognition to one's true self and allowing that to be shown to the world.
Pietersite - links the everyday consciousness to the spiritual and reminds us that we're spiritual beings on a human journey. Pietersite will connect you to the Akashic records and give you insites on your incarnations.
Another way to look at "truth" is to recognize how the truth is revealed to us. Here are some crystals that help "reveal" the truth.
Celestite - Heals the aura and reveals the truth
Fluorite - Makes you more aware of higher spiritual realities and can quicken spiritual awakening, focuses the mind and links it to higher mind, it dissolves illusions and reveals the truth.
Lapis Lazuli - reveals inner truth, encourages self-awareness, and allows self expression without holding back.
Obsidian - (If you want to go deep!) Is truth enhancing and exposes flaws, weaknesses and blockages. It impels us to grow and lends solid support to do so. This will bring negative emotions to the surface!
So I'd recommend that you sit with these choices to determine what's best for you. (Sometimes I use a pendulum and see which has the most energy!)
So, in short, by revealing the truth we discover our "separateness" from our truth. This is a "meaty" part of the journey that can bring us to a great place of peace and joy.
Much love to you on the path!
