Hi, I am traveling by plane and want to bring some small crystals with me. What is the safest way to transport them? My biggest fear is theft/TSA confiscation.

Thank you for your inquiry. When traveling with crystals I usually like to keep them with my jewelry, as I am typically travelling with crystal jewelryas well. Since I also make jewelry I usually have a pouch with loose crystals, wire, and pliers when I travel and I have never had an issue with TSA confiscating anything. If you are placing them in checked luggage you could cushion them inside your socks or a couple of layers of clothing to ensure they don’t break or get scratched.
