Here is a question from one of our customers:

Q:  My mother suffers from arthritis and my father has frozen shoulder and they are both in a lot of pain which breaks my heart.

They've gone to doctors and take over the counter medicine for their pain. But as another form of healing, I want to purchase them each a crystal from your site.
Which crystals do you suggest will help the healing process of arthritis and frozen shoulder?

Answer:

Dear J,

I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.

There are many crystals that can be used for both your mother and father. My recommendation would be to start with a Amethyst as it can be used both for arthitis and for your fathers shoulder. It can also be used to make a gem elixir which can be drank daily to help. I am including a link on Elixirs to help you make and use them.

use about ten drops of the elixir to a glass of water several times a day. Good luck and best wishes for your mother and father.

Isn't an elixir different from charging water? An elixir is described as "a sweet flavored liquid (usually containing a small amount of alcohol) used in compounding medicines to be taken by mouth in order to mask an unpleasant taste." Melody speaks of making elixirs but her process is much different than charging water with crystals. I think that it would benefit those who read this if you made sure to share the differences.  (Submitted by: john on February 05, 2011)
