*"Swelling is a direct result of the white blood cells increasing and attacking the infection. The white blood cells increase and fight the infection faster and harder, thus causing the swelling. As a rule, when swelling occurs suddenly and painfully, it is due to viral or bacterial infection. Ear infections, colds and even small cuts can cause swollen glands.

There are definitely some crystals that can help. For lymphatic system issues, try some Amber or Larimar. These two crystals are also great to use for colds.

For general lymphatic issues, like what you have with swollen lymph nodes, I would recommend Sodalite, Sulfur, or Blue Tourmaline (Indicolite).

There are also crystals that can assist with swollen glands including Aquamarine, Blue Lace Agate and Topaz.

You may also want to consider using some Moss Agate. Moss Agate is a wonderful cleansing crystal, removing toxins from the body and circulatory systems. Charge some drinking water with Moss Agate to infuse your body with healing energy and remove toxins.

Often times, people may recommend green crystals, since green is the color of healing. However, in this case, I would caution against it. Green is also the color of growth and we want to reduce the swelling, not increase it :)"
