Thank you for reaching out on such an important matter.  There are a couple of crystals for grief that I would recommend:

 Apache Tears are wonderful tools to use to assist with the grieving process.  They will lend support during times of sorrow, allowing one to gently accept and then release their grief, thereby releasing and removing blockages.  Rose Quartz would be a good choice to help soothe your heart as it allows for the gentle release of pent-up emotions, grief, and unexpressed feelings about others.
