I'm Cherokee and already have a lot of my Medicine stones and crystals, both as jewelry and crystals for my Medicine Bag. However, my much-disliked, new Pain Management physician is removing me from the oral medications that I have been using for many years (disabling degenerative disk disease/osteoarthritis) in favor of epidurals, which have never had any effect in the past. (Why fix it if it isn't broken?) In addition and concurrently, my mental health diagnosis for the past 39 years has been changed from Major Depression, Multi-Episodic, Chronic to Bi-Polar Disorder. This is a positive thing; I've always felt I had been misdiagnosed. I really dislike western medicine, but there are no alternative practitioners anywhere within a 30-mile radius. Short story long...HELP. I'm ordering the two-crystal package for the Bi-Polar. Is there anything else that would help with the transition stage to Bi-Polar? What about the transition off of the "heavy-duty" analgesics? And then living with the resultant pain? I also ordered the onyx--for myself, this time--because I was just in a Sacred Place involving my Cherokee great-(etc.)-grandmother and the Removal. Might the onyx for that also help with the previous medical questions, or is there something additional I could use? I am a true North Path (Mental, reasoning) and not familiar at all with the West Path (Physical, bodily) Medicine. Thanks for your time. (North Path Medicine folks can't be held to "3 sentences or less," we have to discuss everything from every angle.
Dear C, I am sorry to hear about your illness*. To help you with you bipolar transition, I recommend the following crystals:
Chlorite in Quartz- helps to achieve a state of balance.
Kunzite – promotes self love
Lepidolite – reduces stress, alleviates depression
Lithium Quartz – balances the energy of the brain and emotions
To help ease the pain, I suggest Black Tourmaline and Apache’s Tear.
I hope that these recommendations can be of assistance and that crystals grace your journey with love and light.
