Cheryl - Thank you so very much for your very detailed reply.  I have purchased the stones you mentioned along with a pouch so that he can keep them in his pocket.  I also purchased a lithium quartz crystal as a pendant so that he can wear it around his neck.  I read on your site about its calming and soothing properties.
