Hello Shawn:
I have a quick question on salt lamps;
- Are these lamps apart from the tea light type ones that you plug in to the wall? What type of light bulb do they use?
- Does it matter the type of bulb you put in them?
- Does size matter, in the capacity they have to generate negative ions?
- I live in an apartment with poor air circulation, will a salt lamp improve the air quality?
- Is the effect similar to the rush of energy you get for example by standing for a few minutes in front of a big waterfall? have you ever done that? (Its just fabulous!!)
Please pardon me for asking so many questions!!!.
Best regards, Homero

Homero,
The salt lamps that plug in come with a 25w small-end bulb. You can get them in the grocery or hardware store easily and you can also change the watts from 15w up to 60w. The larger the lamp, and the higher the wattage, will also increase the effectiveness of the ion release into the air.
In my opinion, the effect is not as significant as standing in front of a waterfall, however the energy is wonderful and they also are most pleasant and decorative to have in the room. We have them in many rooms in our house and leave them on 24/7 for effect and as a nightlight.
Thanks again for visiting our site and I look forward to hearing from you again soon.

Shawn Adler
