Octahedron Platonic Solid Crystal - Rose Quartz "Extra" quality - This cut and polished Octahedron crystal made from extra high quality Rose Quartz Crystal from Brazil. The Octahedron can be described as being made up of two square-based pyramids, placed base to base. It can be found in the natural formations of Fluorite crystals. It can be used as a meditation aid, either by holding it in the palm of your hand and/or by studying it and projecting the self into the crystal. Plato assigned the Octahedron to represent the element of air, and it is said to help with cleansing and detoxification. The Octahedron is a polyhedron, made up of eight equilateral triangles that are arranged around a single point, with six vertices, eight faces, and twelve edges.
