Hi crystal expert team! I´m wondering what affect different materials like metals, nylon, leather, etc. have with crystals? If you have a source where I can investigate it, that would be awsome. Heartfelt thanks!

Hi B,

Thanks for sending us your question. Other materials around your crystals can have an impact on their energy. Artificial materials, such as plastic, can block or dampen the crystal’s energy. However, natural materials, such as metals, can increase or impact the energy. Here are some of the characteristics of different metals per the Book of Stones by Robert Simmons and Naisha Ahsian:

Gold – Solar energy, creativity, vitality, confidence, masculine energy, works with all Chakras, but especially the 1st, 2nd and 3rd.
Silver – Lunar energy, mystery, introversion, subconscious, feminine energy, works with all Chakras
Platinum – Cosmic connection, interdimensional communication, works with all Chakras, but especially the 6th through 14th
Copper – Channeling and grounding higher vibrations, conducting and enhancing stone energies, works with all Chakras
Titanium – Power, action, higher awareness, bringing contradiction into synthesis, works with all Chakras
Niobium – Activation of the rainbow body, communication with ET’s and etheric entities, works with all Chakras

This book also goes into much more detail on the properties of the different metals, if you would like read more on your own. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions. Love and Light to you on your journey!

Crystal Blessings,

Stephanie A.
