Greetings! I'm new at using crystals and just received my first order. I'm feeling somewhat overwhelmed and some easy directions would be appreciated as to how to get started. Thanks in advance!

Thanks so much for your order and your support of Healing Crystals.com. I am going to assume that you are feeling overwhelmed by not being sure how to use your new crystals...if I'm wrong and it's other issues that are bothering you and you are not sure how the crystals can help you with those then please feel free to write back and I can offer more guidance.
The first thing you need to know about working with Crystals is that there are no rules and you should always trust your instinct above everything else.
Since you are a Cancer you are very intuitive by nature and if you haven't recognized that about yourself yet then the crystals will help.
My first suggestion is to set all of your crystals out on a table and clear them of past energies by holding your hand over them and just saying "I ask that these crystals be free of all past energies that they no longer need" - now you have begun to work with your crystals and create a personal relationship with them.
Now see which one attracts you first.
Hold it in your hand and see how it's energy feels - see how you feel when you hold it, carry it with you, etc.
If you have a specific purpose that you want that crystal to help you with then you can charge it with
that personal intention using the same method as clearing the energies.
You don't need to set an intention because they will just send the positive energy wherever you need it - even if you don't know that you need it yet!
You may not feel anything at first but if it feels as if you want to keep the crystal with you then do that.
Maybe you want to spread your crystals around your home or create an intention grid.
Maybe you want to keep some with you when you leave your home or when you sleep or when you are working.
The more you work with the crystals - and play with them by trying different things - then the more you will bond with them and feel how there energy is helping you.
Don't expect immediate results because it doesn't work like that.
What your crystals will do is support you and your environment and help you to create a positive and healthy life for yourself.
I am including a link to our Beginner's Guide with other ideas on how to use your crystals but don't feel overwhelmed by the information.
For now just keep things simple and as you feel more comfortable and feel their benefits then you can explore different methods of working with your crystals.
Trust yourself and you will never go wrong.
