Hello. I would like to display a crystal cluster on my living room mantle. It's the first room when entering my home. I am a total beginner, so I need your advice as to what crystal you think would be the most beneficial. Thank you, and I absolutely love your site

Hi J,

Thank you for contacting us with your question about a crystal cluster to display on your mantle. If there is a particular crystal you enjoy looking at, that might be a good place to start. However, since you are a beginner to crystal work, I would probably recommend Amethyst. It brings a lovely relaxing and spiritual energy to a room and also has some protective qualities. I also like to recommend large pieces of Selenitefor a mantle, but it doesn't come in clusters.

To help you learn more about how to care for your cluster and any future crystal additions to your home, you may want to spend some time with our Beginner's Reference Guide. It includes videos, articles and pdfs on a variety of crystal topics.

I hope this information has been helpful to you. And of course, if you have any further questions regarding crystals or crystal healing, please feel free to contact us again.

Crystal Blessings!
