I'd like to make a necklace to help my 8 year old daughter with ADHD. Could you please advise what stones/beads to buy and how many to have a good, healing effect? Thank you so much

Hello K,

Thank you for your question.

I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.

That being said, I would recommend  an Amethyst necklace or a bracelet to start with and Lithium Quartz pendant or a point to put in her pocket or hold when she feels like it.

It is best to introduce someone to crystals gradually, so that's why I'd recommend that she starts wearing amethyst for at least a month before adding any more crystals.

It is important to take it off at night and to cleanse it often and thoroughly. If you are not familiar with methods for cleansing and recharging crystals you an read about it here

After she has been wearing amethyst for at least a month she could try adding lithium quartz or she could try some of the crystals described in these two articles:

We look forward to hearing from you and please feel free to contact us with any other questions.

I hope that these recommendations can be of assistance and that crystals grace your journey with love and light.

Crystal Blessings!
Brana
