I know some crystals can not be submerged in water to make an elixir, but can the tumbled versions of these crystals be used?

Hi K,

If a crystal is not considered "safe" to submerge in water, it should not be used in its tumbled version, either. Reasons for this include small cracks or grooves not visible in the surface that can cause toxins to leech into the water, or which can allow the water to get into the crystal and breakdown the crystal. A safer method is to charge the water with the crystal on the outside of a glass container instead. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Crystal Blessings,

Debbie Elaine
