Hello, I've been waking up 2 hours before my alarm goes off every morning, leaving me tired and groggy throughout the day. I'm almost sure it's from anxiety from this intense summer class I'm taking and/or the worry of losing sleep. Are there any crystals that can help me fall back asleep and/or help with this kind of anxiety? Thank you so much!

Thank you for reaching out to us at Healing Crystals with your question about crystals for your anxiety and sleep disruption. Those nights of waking up at the same time and laying there stressing about it are awful! And if you're anything like me, you probably fall back into a deep sleep 10 minutes before your alarm goes off! *Sigh*

There are a few ways to approach this. See what resonates with you and which crystals you already have and can try out first....

First, you can try a before-bed ritual of putting your stress of the day into a crystal such as Selenite with the intention that it will transmute that energy overnight. Also, go to bed setting your intention that you will sleep peacefully and restfully through the night. Or, you could imagine leaving all the things that you have to do the next day in a package outside the bedroom, to be picked up and dealt with in the morning. You could also hold a crystal of yours that feels peaceful and ask it to help you sleep peacefully and restfully through the night and then fall asleep holding that. Just be sure that if you have any animals or children that crawl into bed with you, you use something large enough to not be a choking hazard for them. I have a piece of Tibetan Quartz that I  use this way. It has a more peaceful vibe than some other Quartz, and always helps me get back to sleep.

Another strategy would be to put 4 med/large Quartz points between your mattress and box spring, pointing inwards and charged with the intention that they will help you sleep peacefully and restfully through the night for your highest good. Reaffirm that intention each night before going to bed--imagining it energizing the grid for you.

Some specific crystal for relaxation that people sometimes like to keep near their bedside are: Lepidolite, Blue Lace Agate and Amethyst--thought Amethyst can cause intense dreams for some people, so you have to pay attention to that for yourself.
