Thank you for your inquiry.
The first thing I am going to suggest is to clean on a physical and spiritual level. To do the physical cleaning, get rid of anything that is broken or unwanted. This will help remove stagnant energies that may have built up. When physically cleaning, vacuum or sweep north to south or east to west with the intention of removing anything that may be holding you down.
After the physical cleansing you can start working with Sage . When you are cleaning with sage, I would open the windows and use the Sage throughout all the rooms, especially the corners. The corners in rooms are where energy gets “stuck”. Once the sage is done you may want to use ocean water, drinking water with sea salt in it, or Holy Water and spray each room. Imagine the water is placing a protective bubble around your belongings. (Be careful not to get water directly on, wood, electronics or delicate fabrics.) To further seal in your protection you can use drumming music to help get rid of any residual energetic waste. You may then want to place pieces of Selenite in each of the corners. I consider Selenite a “psychic vacuum cleaner” and it also doubles as a protective crystal. As you place it in the corners ask your angels/guides/deities for protection from whatever is disturbing you.
After doing all of this I would create a protection grid. My favorite crystals for protection are Black Tourmaline, (for energetic protection), Snowflake Obsidian (for psychic protection) and Amethyst (for Spiritual protection).
Here is a sample grid. The black dots are Black Tourmaline, white dots are Clear Quartz, and Purple dots are Amethyst.
For your son, I would have him carry Blue Lace Agate, Blue Calcite, andLapis Lazuli.
