Dreams are an important doorway into higher self-consciousness. While the body is at rest, dreams can play out the events of the day, help to solve problems/issues and/or to connect and receive information from Divine Source. Many times, inspiration comes in the form of a dream. Our dream time is just as important as our waking time. Three of my favorite pieces to enhance and inspire dreams include Amethyst, Moonstone, and Strawberry Quartz.
Amethyst connects the physical plane with higher realms, opening a connection to the higher consciousness and inspiring information to be shared during the dream state. Amethyst provides a wonderful peaceful energy for meditations and dreaming. Amethyst not only assists in the access of information, but to remember and bring this information back into consciousness upon waking.
Moonstone is a stone of insight and inspiration. It takes one deeply into the dream state, enhancing both the dream and the dreaming process. Moonstone has often been used to gain access to the Hall of Records where a wealth of information is available.
Strawberry Quartz can help one who is learning about past lives and astral travel, gathering information on these endeavors. It can bring exciting new discoveries about the genesis of the Universe, and the calmness needed to assimilate this knowledge in an appropriate way, and turn it into wisdom. Strawberry Quartz is often placed under a pillow in order that the dream can be remembered in detail.
When working with Dreams and Dreaming, sit quietly before bedtime, holding your crystal of choice and repeat the following affirmation:
"I am open to the information my higher consciousness provides during Dream time. I remember my dreams with complete clarity."
