Hello,

Can you tell me how to care for and cleanse a lepidolite sphere? Also what stones or crystals are recommended for anxiety and irritability associated with law enforcement PTSD? Also are Lepidolite and Bloodstone compatible to be used together?

Thank you,

Andy

Dear Andy~

Greetings and thank you for your question.  Lepidolite is a friable crystal, meaning that it cannot get wet or be put in any fine granular substances, or else it will probably start to break down.  I choose to cleanse stones like this with sage, by lighting it and passing the crystal through the smoke.  As far as keeping your Lepidolite is concerned, it is best to keep this crystal on display at a specific location where you want exposure to its energies.  During transport, I would recommend carrying it in a box, with stuffing, or a snugly fitting, velvet bag.

A crystal that offers helpful energies for anxiety and stress, including Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, happens to be Lepidolite.  Lepidolite carries a natural form the mineral Lithium, which is found in some antidepressants.  Lepidolite can help to dissolve emotional and energetic blockages that can often inhibit ones inner healing.  Lepidolite can work well in body layouts on the Heart and Third-Eye Chakras, and will forge a good healing connection between these chakras.  This action can help one to integrate intuitive messages received during meditation.  The energies of Lepidolite and Bloodstone do not neccessarily clash, however, it would be best to work with them seperately at first.  We offer three different types of Lepidolite on this page:

Tangerine Quartz also happens to be helpful for PTSD, as well as anxiety and stress. Having a calming and soothing energy, Tangerine Quartz can help one to discover and work through the root causes of anger and irritability.  Tangerine Quartz has a supportive vibration to help one undertake the inner, emotional and mental work neccessary to get through psychological trauma, and assists healing on all levels: physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual.  Tangerine Quartz works on the subtle energy bodies, to help form an energetic field from further psychic damage to the aura that can occur as a result of chronically existing in this state.  We have some nice Tangerine Quartz items at this link:

If you are new to crystals, try to spend some individual time with any new crystal to get accustomed to its energies.  Also, please take a look at our articles on cleansing and programming your crystals in our newsletter archive, here:

While I am not a doctor or a psychoanalysist, and I cannot give out medical advice, I do feel that the right crystal can supply needed energetic support during specific situations.  There are many, many people in this world who are suffering from similar but different manifestations of negative energy that could benefit from the aid of crystals.  Connecting with crystals can help those who are doing the inner work that I believe can heal deep emotional trauma.

I hope this helps.  Feel free to write back if you have any other questions or concerns.

Love and Peace,

~Crystal CAT
