I have a big Rose Quartz stone in our bedroom. It is time to clear it and recharge it. I was wondering how you would recommend cleansing and recharging a big crystal? It is about size of a softball.

Hi R,

Thanks for your question. I love Rose Quartz and have a large chunk myself. When you have a bigger crystal, it can be cleared and charged right with all your little crystals, if possible. I like to smudge all my crystals with white sage and I include my big Rose Quartz too. Because larger crystals are placed around the home and absorb energies from the space around them, I like to give mine a break periodically to “rest.” I have found that Rose Quartz absolutely loves to be in dirt and around plants. For a couple weeks at a time, I place mine in a shady spot in my garden or, in the winter, I place it in a large houseplant or a pot full of dirt. You can also place it the middle of several potted plants if it’s too big to put inside the pot with the dirt. I have found that charging it this way really brings out the pink color of Rose Quartz and is excellent at restoring its energy. I hope this helps. Please let me know if you have any questions. I hope your journey is blessed with Love and Light.

Crystal Blessings,

Stephanie A.
