Here is a Question from One of Articles - How Do You Cleanse Black Tourmaline
May I ask why should I keep it in a jar if I am to bury it?
Is it not the direct soil conncection that makes all the difference?
Can I use also water as a method of cleansing?
I must share the standard disclaimer that I am not a doctor and cannot give out medical advice. Crystals for healing should be used as a compliment to other therapies and not as a replacement for regular medical care.
There is a misconception that it is the soil itself that clears the stones. It is not. It is the earth energy that clears the stones. It is this energy that can also change and transmute negative energy into pure universal energy. Soft stones are put in jars to protect them. Direct contact with water or soil can and will over time damage and wear away your stones. Any stone below 7 on the Mohs scale will be damaged in this manner. That is why we recommend jars to bury soft stones. The jar is no barrier to the earth energies. The stones will be cleansed and rejuvenated by the brief stay in the earth.
