Can you taste it?  Can you hear it?  Can you see it?  Can you feel it?

Change is in the air.

In the Northern Virginia, DC Metropolitan area, we have been blessed (so far) with a mild winter. Our recent days of warmer weather had us all thinking and looking forward to spring and the changes the season brings.

Our changes at the warehouse are apparent and multiplying. We have increased our warehouse space and opened the wall between our unit and the one beside us. Oh, the metaphorical meanings behind that are endless!

We are also excited to announce we now offer a variety of tumbled stones in either (1)lb bags or (25)piece options (see below for details and links). As we add new products to our web store we often ask ourselves; “Why do our customers buy a crystal?” So we would like to reach out to you for answers. If you have a quick moment, please take our one question survey: Why do you buy crystals ?

We have created an Amazing Assortment of Tumbled Stones at wholesale prices for YOU!! Psychic Tool Box, Part 2 of Improving Psychic Abilities

Most of us want to improve our abilities, but don’t know where to begin. In this article I’d like to suggest “tools” that will help you achieve your goals. When many of us think of psychics, what comes to mind is a woman with a crystal ball, a Tarot deck, or an Ouija board. I’d like to explore more options available to us that will nourish your psychic development.

Crystals can be used in various ways to enhance your talents. The following list consists of crystals that I recommend in your psychic toolbox:

Moonstone – Enables communication from spiritual beings.

Pietersite – Unblocks chakras to allow more psychic feedback.

Amethyst – Opens connections to the spiritual realm.

Sugilite– Increases depths and dimensions of dreams.

Charoite– Opens the third eye chakra, crown chakra and soul star chakras.

Aqua Aura – Accelerates the ability to connect with higher vibrational beings.

Tanzan Aura – Encourages clear communication of psychic dreams.

Lithium Quartz – Soothes worries to encourage receptiveness of higher guidance.

The first way to use these crystals is under your pillow. When you go to sleep, you may wish to place one or more of these stones your pillow. They can increase your receptiveness to messages in your sleep. You may need to try various crystals, or even a combination of crystals, to see which one works best for you. I would suggest having enough on hand to rotate one each day so that they don’t burn out. In the mornings, start writing own anything and everything you dreamed of during the night. Although it may not make sense write it down, there may be a pattern that develops over a week or two. You will need to check your dream dictionary for any unusual signs or symbols. Let’s say you are in a car that is going faster than the speed of light and can’t slow down. The car may be a metaphor for how you feel about your life. Every aspect of the dream is important, including how you feel.

Another use for crystals is aiding in meditation. Since I have a tendency to fidget or fall asleep, I place Clear Quartz crystals under my cushion or chair so that I don’t have to hold anything. For some of you holding them is no problem so you can keep one in your non-dominant hand to receive the energy while you breathe. Those of you who would rather recline, can place a crystal on your forehead, your throat, or one at the top of your head. Using crystals on all of your chakras may be too strong so experimentation is suggested. Always do what is comfortable for you and what feels right. What works for you one day, may not work for you the next day. Try any of the crystals mentioned above for dreams when meditating.

Crystals can be used in combination with other tools too! For those of you who do energy work, try using crystals while receiving energy from videos on YouTube. There are many videos that use energy like Reiki and sound to increase psychic ability. After finding one that you like, place clear quartz in front of the screen, in your lap, or in your hands and play the video. The energy will be enhanced through the crystal.

Here are some links to videos you may find work well with your crystals through energy, sound and/or color:

Reiki Group Energy– Works with whatever intention you set.

Journey into Altered States – An audio and visual experience.

Frequency Awakening Intuition – Sound waves provide a unique auditory sensation.

Connecting with your Higher Self – A meditation to bring you into contact with your higher self.

YouTube also has many instruction videos on how to develop your psychic abilities, enhance your intuition, and even foster your mediumship skills. Although not all videos will work for everyone, you are bound to find something that syncs with your energy and will assist you in attaining your goals.

Listed below are some instructional videos that may aid your quest for psychic development.

Connecting with your Higher Self – Doreen Virtue’s meditation to bring you into contact with your higher self.

Intuitive Insights– Offers simple tips on how to increase intuition

What is intuition– Sonia Choquette discusses intuition and how it can be developed

Herbs, flowers, and many plants can also be instrumental in your psychic pursuits. Some may be found in their natural state others may be found in candles, creams, and oils. Always use the form that you are most comfortable with. Many of these come in oil form and although some oils can be placed on the skin when diluted, I recommend using an oil diffuser to achieve the same results and avoid skin allergies. Since everyone has a different idea of what is pleasant, here is a list of common plants that you may find beneficial in your psychic pursuits.

Bay Leaves – Use the oil in a diffuser or just crumple a few leaves and smell them while meditating or breathing.

Calendula – The herb is found in many creams, a great way of receiving its benefits! Of course in a diffuser it also works well. This herb works well for those who wish to receive information in dreams.

Cinnamon – Many candles have this scent, providing a quick and easy method of inhaling this scent. This herb can also be ingested and I sprinkle it on anything I can, especially before meditating. Breaking cinnamon sticks in your hand will also provide the scent that is needed in meditation.

Clary Sage – Can provide vivid dreams for those who are more apt to gain insight through dreams. This scent may not be as pleasant as others scents and is a matter of preference whether or not to use it. You can place a few drops in a diffuser or take one or two whiffs from drops placed on a cotton ball.

Myrrh – The scent of this oil in an oil burner is my personal favorite method for working with this oil.

Sandalwood – This scent can easily be found in many incense sticks, candles and oil form. Use whichever type is most agreeable for you.

Star Anise – Can be found in herbal form as a spice. Simply smelling it can help induce a pleasurable sense of peace to those who find it fragrant.

Yarrow – Can be found in essences, oils, and creams. Use in whichever formula you feel comfortable with.

If you don’t have the time or option to put oils in diffuses or light candles, many oils can be diluted in water and the sprayed on as a fragrance or room freshener. As always use caution when using any of these plants. Too much inhaling of any of them can lead to headaches.

For more tools and suggestions, please check out the list below. There are so many ways that you can improve your abilities and the ones mentioned briefly above are meant to whet your appetite. Have fun experimenting with as many options as you can. Developing psychic ability can be fun and should be approached with a child’s sense of wonder and excitement.

Crystals and Communication

“Say the right words with the right emphasis at the right time… oh, you can make men weep, or cry with joy. Change them. You can change people’s minds just with words. . .”

—David Tennant as The Doctor, Doctor Who, “The Shakespearean Code”

Words have power. With the right words you can clearly express yourself, brighten a person’s day, or give unique insight into a situation. You can make a positive impact on somebody’s life, encourage people to reach for their dreams, give support to a friend, or make a wonderful impression that leads to many future opportunities. The wrong words, on the other hand, can lead to confusion, damage a relationship, or inaccurately express your inner thoughts. Sometimes lacking the vocabulary to speak up, defend your position on a topic, or express yourself can be devastating. Every word you speak and write, whatever the situation, represents you. It communicates to others what you want them to know, what you think, and how you feel.

Yet how often is it difficult for us to find the right words to express our thoughts, our emotions? Communication is one of the hardest things to do on this Earth because it is so easy to be misunderstood and so hard to truly express our inner truth. This article lists a few crystals and their helpful vibrations to aid with both written and verbal communication. Hopefully they will help you to speak your truth no matter what the occasion is.

 Amethyst

Amethyst is well known for opening the crown chakra. In doing so, it allows you to receive inspiration for speeches and essays more easily. It clears energy blockages throughout your body for energy to flow easily. It can also provide energy, giving you an extra boost when needed. Overall, it is an excellent crystal for communicating with the divine or receiving spiritual guidance while conveying information.

Suggested Uses

Place it under your pillow the night before a presentation/writing an assignment for guidance.

Wear it as earrings while communicating with an audience or receiving inspiration for a written work.

Keep a piece by you while writing.

Ametrine

Ametrine is a combination of Amethyst and Citrine in one stone. It is wonderful for communication, specifically public speaking, because it brings out assertive and outgoing qualities in the user.

Suggested Uses

Wear it as a necklace, earrings, or pendant while communicating with an audience or receiving inspiration for a written work.

Hold it in your hands or place it in a pocket while speaking.

Aquamarine

The vibration of Aquamarine provides a cooling and soothing effect very similar to water. It creates a bridge between the heart and throat chakras so that you can clearly vocalize what you are feeling. The gentle energy of this crystal is a wonderful aid for speaking truthfully and compassionately. Aquamarine stimulates creative expression.

Suggested Uses

Wear it as a necklace or pendant close to your throat chakra.

Meditate or lay down with it on your throat chakra before speaking or writing.

Blue Calcite

Blue Calcite is an energetically gentle crystal that works well with lighter vibration crystals for the throat chakra. It protects sensitive people from the harsh impact of high stimulus energy so they can communicate without disturbance. An inspirational stone, it helps you uncover the words to convey your message.

Suggested Uses

Wear it as a necklace, pendant, or earrings

Hold it in your hands or place it in a pocket while speaking.

Celestite

Celestite opens the throat, third eye, and crown chakras. As a result, your thoughts are clear and your connection with higher realms is at its best. It allows you to transmit and receive information so you can speak your truth. Stress and worry are dispelled as this soft and light energy works with you to achieve your goals.

Suggested Uses

Keep a piece by your work place to help you while you speak and write.

Place it under your pillow the night before a presentation/writing an assignment for guidance.

Meditate with it before speaking or writing.

Citrine

Citrine is a wonderful stone for mental processes. It aides thought processes such as clarity of thought. It sparks creativity and imagination for your communication.

Suggested Uses

Wear it as a pendant, preferably closer to the navel.

Keep it in pockets close to the waistline during public speaking events.

Golden topaz

Like other yellow stones, Golden Topaz boosts the energy of the solar plexus chakra. It improves concentration and clears the mind. Notably, Golden Topaz helps the user manifest desires. Thus, using it can help you achieve the best outcome you can imagine.

Suggested Uses

Meditate with it before speaking or writing while visualizing your intended outcome.

Keep it in pockets close to the waistline.

Heliodor (golden beryl)

Heliodor channels spiritual energies into physical reality. It works on the crown and solar plexus chakras to clear away frustration and infuses the user with mental strength. An excellent choice for boosting knowledge and learning, Heliodor expands your awareness to give you a broader perspective. This stone aids self-confidence and assertiveness, both helpful qualities for improved verbal communication.

Suggested Uses

Place in a pocket close to the waistline.

Wear it as a pendant or earrings.

Kyanite

Kyanite works as an energy conductor. It increases your mental stamina, eases away energetic blocks for new perspectives, and creates an energetic bridge for communication. It enhances your intuitive abilities to guide you to the right words. Kyanite is exceptional for singing and communicating to large crowds.

Suggested Uses

Sleep with it under your pillow to absorb helpful energies while you sleep.

Wear it as a necklace or pendant.

Meditate with it before speaking.

Turquoise

The greener tones in this crystal make it perfect to use for the throat and heart chakras. Turquoise brings emotional balance to its users and empowers the shy and timid. Not only does it help you to communicate from the heart, but it allows easier communication with spirits.

Suggested Uses

Wear as a necklace, pendant or bracelet.

Keep it in a pocket when conveying heartfelt thoughts and emotions.

Meditate with it before speaking, writing, or trying to receive spirit communication.
