Hi I have a question on the moonlight cleansing method. I might be overthinking this a bit.....but do they have to be in direct moonlight? Like outside? Or can the light through a window work? My house is situated so that I really don't get a lot of moonlight through the windows or on the patio (covered patio,lots of trees around). I could put them in my car overnight though if the light thru the windshield will do. Thanks for your help!

Thank you so much for your question about using Moonlight with your crystals. The short answer is that the crystals don't have to be directly in the Moonlight, outside, or in a window. They could be sitting in a box under your bed and still benefit from the energy of the Moon (or Sun or any other energy that you want to use).
Energy isn't has much about physical presence as it is about intention....that's where the magic is! I don't have the time to bring all of my crystals outside or to a window whenever I want to use energy to clear them or charge so I use my faith and will to design an intention that does the trick. For instance we have a New Moon on Friday night which is perfect energy to set an intention for your crystals. So what I do is ask that the energy of the New Moon bless and charge my crystals to keep them at a positive and beneficial vibration. I ask that anything they no longer need be replaced with the energy of the New Moon phase and I imagine the light of the Moon coming through and touching each of my crystals. And then I just know that it is done. This works fine for me - sometimes when it's warm I may put some on my porch and I know people who bring them to their roof and you can do all of that kind of stuff....but the power is in your intention and that won't be held back by walls or any other barriers.  So this just answered my question too! I was wondering the same thing about sunlight. Yesterday, I cleansed my crystals in salt water and wanted to put them in the sun today but its cloudy outside. So I didnt know if it would still work. (Submitted by: Rachel on June 10, 2020) |

 I was wondering this exact thing and although I had the idea that it was more so the intention than the actual physical presence of the moonlight, I wasn't exactky sure and wanted to utilize the magickal properties of the rare Friday the 13th Harvest Moon tonight.Thank you so much for confirming what I felt to be true!
