Thank you for your inquiry. To clean a Lemurian or any other crystal, I would I would put them out in sunlight and moonlight for the cleansing and recharging. An alternate to sunlight and moonlight would be to put them on a copper plate or under a copper pyramid to charge. You can also let the Lemurian soak in water with some sea salt (regular salt would do). Or they can be put around a salt lamp for a week to be cleaned. Another method is to use sage to clear them.
To activate the crystal once it has been cleaned, you can hold it in your hands. While holding it imagine white light coming through your hands. You can then place it on the third eye and imagine the power of intention enveloping the crystal. Or you can hold it to your heart chakra and imagine the intention flowing from there. I would hold the crystal on either chakra for a couple of minutes. When you are done, I would drink some water and wash your hands if you are going to activate any more crystals. You wash your hands to release any energy stored up from the previous crystal.

I was lucky enough to have one of these introduce itself into my life and it has been an amazing tool for meditation and focused healing. Had an interesting experience with it, that I thought I would share. During a mediation in which I was focusing on this question(how to cleanse this crystal) I had a very strong and forceful suggestion to retrieve a laser light from a drawer upstairs (one in which I did not realise I even owned). After introducing the laser beam to the crystal it became as if "super charged" and was just buzzing with energy! Even more so than usual!) I then proceeded to use it in a fashion akin to psychic surgery, using it to release muscle pain by activating it on different pressure points, and it worked immediately and more effectively than any other healing crystal I have ever come across! If anyone else has a similar experience, please let me know :) I usually cleanse most crystals by smudging, running water, sun and moonlight or burying, so the use of this laser surprised me greatly (and delighted me with the results!)
