Question:

"Hi, I wanted to know which crystal would be ideal for a child's bed wetting problem? Thanks, Priyankh"

Answer:

Greetings,

I did some research on child bed wetting and found this wonderful website that shared quite a bit of information.http://kidshealth.org/parent/general/sleep/enuresis.html

Contrary to popular belief, bed wetting is not linked to any emotional issues. In fact, "Doctors don't know for sure what causes bed wetting or why it stops. But it is often a natural part of development, and kids usually grow out of it. Most of the time bed wetting is not a sign of any deeper medical or emotional issues."

I think for a child, the best crystals to use in this situation would be those that help to support the child emotionally. Crystals such as Amazonite, Carnelian, Rhodochrosite, Rose Quartz, Sodalite or Tiger Eye can all help to support a child's self esteem and self worth. I believe that with the help of the stones and the love and support of the family, the child will come to a healthy (physical and emotional) resolution in time. The less of a "big deal" that is made of it, the better the emotional well being of the child.

You may also want to create a small grid under the child's bed--one that will help to relieve stress and embarrassment as well as fill the child's space with love and support. Crystals that can be used to reduce stress would include: Amethyst, Green Aventurine, Blue Lace Agate, Lapis Lazuli, Fluorite and/or Black Tourmaline.

I am sure with patience and time, these incidences will cease. Until then, the crystals listed will definitely help to ease the emotional issues associated with this challenge.

With love and crystal blessings,
Kristi
