Wondering where to look on exactly how to use the crystals for health issues. I am looking for pain and stress relief and thinking of trying something different than medicine, but have no clue as to how to use them.

I only took time to read one of the questions and saw a lot of strange, for me, things about where to put them.
I would appreciate any help.

Dear Sherrie~

Thank you for visiting our website.  Learning about crystals can sometimes be confusing, especially where crystal-therapy is concerned, but let's see what we can do to help you with your choices.

There are many different crystals used for dealing with both pain and stress, and can be a beneficial supplement to the healing process.  Without knowing the sources of these two ailments, I will give you some general examples of crystals for pain and stress.

Since it is known as the "master-healer" of the mineral kingdom, many crystal-healers use Clear Quartz for mitigating pain.  Since its energies serve to focus and amplify one's intent, it is an important member of any crystal collection.  As a healing stone, Clear Quartz can bring spiritual knowledge of cellular perfection.  It can clear away blockages, helping to treat not only the pain, but also the underlying causes of it. https://www.healingcrystals.com/Listing_by_Stone_Type/Clear_Quartz/

Another stone often used to help with pain is Amber.  Not actually a crystal, this solidified tree resin has the tendency to draw out pain and nutralize negative vibrations.  Amber is noted for its timeless energies that are conducive to rememberance of a time before the illness existed, thereby prompting one toward a state of wholeness.

A great stress-relieving stone is Celestite, a personal favorite of mine.  This high-vibe crystal brings a soothing, calming energy, bridging the gap between the physical and spiritual worlds.  Peaceful Celestite can help when one is going through rough times, by bringing an understanding of the inherent order of the Universe, and is very helpful in attaining a deeper state of meditation.  Celestite has also been used as a healing stone, bringing cooling sensations to many painful ailments.

Finally, Amethyst is another crystal used for stress-relief.  Like Celestite, it too is a very peaceful and spitirual stone, and is helpful during meditation.  Amethyst is spiritually protective and brings calming energies where there is high degrees of tension.  In cluster form, Amethyst can make a great paperweight in one's home or office (or home-office :-), emitting its serene influence out into the surrounding environment, and onto those who may be less than peaceful.

I hope these suggestions bring some help for you.  If you do ultimately decide to work with crystals, please remember that clearing and programming is an imprtant aspect of this type of energy work.  You can read about these topics at the following urls:
