My stepmum has had breast cancer — she had one breast removed and has recovered. This was two years ago. Now, just two weeks ago, she had the other breast removed and has had reconstructive surgery. It is her 50th birthday soon, and I would like to get her crystals. Could you give me some ideas on what crystals would be good for her? And how they are used, whether they be used as jewelery or something else?
Good Morning,
Your stepmum sounds like a very strong, amazing woman. We send blessings of love, support and healing.
I think a Rose Quartz pendant, worn right at the heart chakra, would be a wonderful gift. Rose Quartz is a stone of love and healing. It brings in universal, unconditional love from its Source. It is soothing and supportive to the body, mind and soul. Rose Quartz balances the emotions, lowering stress and bringing peace. Rose Quartz also brings calm and harmony during times of increased stress or crisis.
There are quite a few crystals/stones that help with general healing and overall health. Any one or more of these, individually or in combination, would be a lovely idea for healing on all levels. Amethyst Apophyllite Aquamarine Larimar Moonstone Selenite Turquoise
The crystals/stones listed above can be utilized in many ways.
1. They can be worn as pendants
2. Placed under the pillow to help heal during sleep, when the body is more open to the process.
3. You can also create a simple crystal healing grid. Place a pic of your stepmum in the middle and surround the picture with healing crystals.
4. If your stepmum is open to it, she can even hold the crystal and simply sit in silence for a bit, allowing its energy to be infused into her body.
There are many crystals/stones that are green in color and generally healing in nature as well. However, with Cancer and tumors, I personally tend to offer other suggestions instead of these common ones, due to the fact that many green crystals carry the energy of growth and renewal which is counterproductive in this case.
I am sure you will find the perfect pieces for your stepmum to help in her healing process. I hope these suggestions help to get you started. What a beautiful gift!
