Hi,
I just bought an Amethyst, cleaned it, and placed it on my forehead as I had a terrible headache. The headache was gone in less than 2 minutes! I started to have a headache and feel dizzy while I was in the crystals shop, looking at crystals. The strangest thing was the fact that after my headache gone and I removed the amethyst, I had a warm feeling on my forehead for a long time. Why is that? Does anyone experience the same?

It sounds as if you are sensitive to crystal energy. The next time you visit a shop, try carrying a piece of Hematite or Black Obsidian in your pocket to help ground you. Sometimes, this will alleviate the energy overload :)
Isn't Amethyst amazing? I have actually put the Amethyst in the freezer for a minute or two and then applied to the headache. Works like a charm!
For me, many times, when working with crystals and healing, the warm sensation you speak of, will occur. The build up of energy, which is what caused the headache, is being broken up by the amethyst. The warm sensation, for me, is a sign that this broken up energy is being released.
