Alternate Methods of Charging Water
By Lourdes Lebron
Many of us want to charge water with crystals, but just don’t have the time. When it comes to charging water, there are days when it is tough to have the time to fill a jug, find the crystals, and put the jug in sunlight. Here are some of the short cuts I use when short on time or sunlight.
If you have don’t have a lot of time to find the right crystals to charge water, use a crystal slab. I have flat pieces of crystals that I place my glass or pitcher on before placing it in sunlight. My favorite is a Ruby in Zoisite that I use for the heart chakra. I also have a Golden Sheen Obsidian slab that is great for protection. This is quick, easy, and a very powerful way to energize your water.
Another hint is take a necklace or bracelet and wrap it around your pitcher. Most of my containers have a handle and I place the jewelry around the narrowest part. It is touching the glass and I don’t have to worry about losing any crystals around it. Elastic bracelets work well for this, but so do pendants. Try various pieces to see what works best. Remember, you can charge your water with metals too. Gold and Silver work really well so wrap a chain or two around the container and feel the difference.
There are some days that there isn’t any sunlight or moonlight. This used to upset me until I realized I could use Sacred Geometry to augment the energy of the crystals. I have a grid pattern (you don’t need one, but I like to use the Seed of Life) and place the glass in the center. After that, tumbled stones go in the cardinal positions. If I have more time, I place Quartz Points in between the cardinal points. I leave this water for a day or two and then use it.
It is a lot of fun to become creative when working with crystals. What shortcuts do you use? I would love to hear from you.
