A Simple Method for Using Crystals and a Grid in Healing Work
There are many ways in which you can use crystals to do healing work, but one of the most effective ways is to set up a grid. You may have a variety of reasons for wanting to use a grid, including some you might not have considered:
Reasons to set up a Crystal Grid
To send healing to someone you know or to someone who has requested your assistance. To send healing to a particular situation in your life or in someone else’s life. To ask for greater clarity and direction. To send healing energy to several persons at the same time.
What You Will Need to Set Your Grid:
A grid – simply print out a copy of the one provided here. Six quartz crystals – preferably double terminated, though any quartz crystals will do – including smooth ones. Other crystals or stones can be used as well. One larger quartz crystal or generator.
Clearing the Crystals
Clear your crystals before you use them. Simply hold them in your hands and give the intent for them to clear. If you are attuned to Reiki, trace the symbols over the crystals and give intent for them to clear. Clear the crystals even if you are not an energy worker. Simply give intent for them to clear – or place them under running water. Hold the crystals until you feel a shift in energy.
Setting up the Grid
Place your grid in a place where it will not be disturbed and determine how long you will set the grid up for. Place each one of the six crystals on the six outermost points of the grid. (Note that they are shaped like crystals). Place the generator or larger piece in the center. If you are attuned to Reiki – trace the symbols over the grid and intend for the energy to be sent to the person or situation in question. If you are attuned to another healing frequency, use this energy. If you have never done energy work, it does not matter! Simply give intent for healing energy to flow and direct it to the source needed. Every few days – place your hands over the grid and “re-charge” it by giving intent again. At the end of the designated time, take down your grid and clear your crystals. Give thanks to the healing energy for being of assistance.
