I just recently began exploring the properties of crystals, and I have a few questions. I'm interested in some of your crystals and I was wondering if the physical size of a crystal is related to it's effectiveness. For example: Does a 1" crystal have more power than a 1/2" crystal? Also, would 3 half inch crystals, carried together, be more powerful than 1 half inch crystal carried alone? Also, when using the crystal, is there a proper way to carry it, or hold it?

Thank you for visiting our site and for your question. You are not alone in wondering if size really matters. In answer to that question, it depends. Certain crystals do seem to carry more power in a larger size, like Clear Quartz, for example. Another thing to consider is the purpose you have in mind for the crystal. For example, if you are wanting a piece of Moldavite to use with your Third-Eye Chakra meditations, a small size would be fine. As far as a proper way to hold your crystal is concerned, well, again, it depends on your purpose. If you are just wanting to carry a crystal in your pocket to have its energies in your aura, then it doesn't matter how it sits in your pocket. However, crystals that are being used in a grid, for example, would be in a specific position for the best energetic output and direction. If you are using a Clear Quartz Point in a body layout, you would want to have it pointing in the direction where you want the energy to flow.
