I WRITE IN CAPITALS TO SEE THEM BETTER AND FOR ANY OLD FOLKS...HEHE.ANYWAY I AM ALSO TRYING TO HEAL THE WORLD...ONE CRYSTAL AT A TIME AND DEAL WITH MANY.I REALLY ENJOY YOUR STORE AND ALL INFO AND WILL PASS IT ALONG TO THE MANY PEOPLE I DEAL WITH.
QUESTION...I HAVE BEEN DEALING WITH LEMURIANS LATELY AND AM HAVING A HARD TIME TELLING THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THEM AND SOME OF THE QUARTZ I HAVE GOTTEN FROM BRAZIL THAT HAVE THE MATTE FINISH.IT SEEMS THAT THEY CAN BE ANY SHAPE AS LONG AS THEY HAVE THE STRAITED LINES?SOME HAVE SMALLER CLEAR SPACES BETWEEN THE STRAITED SPACES.I HAVE MANY THAT HAVE STRIATIONS THAT DONT FIT INTO THE CLASSIC LEM SHAPE.CAN YOU HELP ME A BIT HERE? I WOULD BE AND AM MOST GRATEFUL TO YOU.I HAVE MOSTLY BEEN DEALING WITH ARKANSAS QUARTZ, HAVING DUG MANY MYSELF AND DEALT WITH THE LOVELY RED CLAY THAT STICKS TO THEM.BUT THEY ARE SOME NICE LOOKING CRYSTALS AS FAR AS CLARITY AND SHARPNESS AT THE POINTS.SOME LOOK ALMOST POLISHED BUT ARE NOT.ANYWAY.

Thank you for visiting our shop, and for your question about Lemurian Crystals. I have a few Lemurian Crystals and I have read much material about them. It is my understanding that Lemurian Quartz Crystals generally have sides that alternate smooth-striated-smooth-striated-smooth-striated, and that Lemurians generally get narrower towards the end of the point. In the classic Lemurian formation, the point has a larger front face, a little triangle face directly opposite that, two in between sort of rounded faces, and two little faces that can be in a parallelogram shape. The faces are really hard to describe, and there are variations. You can take a look at some pictures of Lemurian Crystals at this link (not sure if there is a good point shot though):

Many different crystal books and websites say that Lemurian Crystals can only be found in Brazil, but I feel this is not the case. The same patterns of formation that are found in the Brazilian Lemurians can be seen in crystals from Arkansas, China, and the Himalayans. There is a distinction between regular Lemurians Crystals, which can be found together in clusters or bunches, and Lemurian Seed Crystals, which are found individually in a dig site.
